So, where to next?

The last couple of days have been a bit of a rush to determine which direction to take LNG. I am not ready to let this beast go and see no reason why it cannot continue, even if not in the same direction.

While the Chuhuac will now have to wait for a number of reasons, I do have some other aliens waiting in the wings that may just be able to see the light of day. They would be smaller, more staged releases than I had planned for the Chuhuac, but they are also structures differently than those kooky Space Raptors.

While I don't want to reveal any specific (don't want to get hopes up yet) suffice it to say that I have been contacting new sculptors and getting my ducks in a row. I expect it will still be several months before I have anything to show, but such is the world of small business.

So, if you count yourself among the LNG fans, and I hope you do, I appreciate your interest and hope to win your loyalty with some exciting releases later this year. I hope you will come back to the blog from time to time as I may have some concepts and sketches to reveal as plans take form.

Have fun!

  2. Dan,

As much as I would love to gush and share my thoughts and ideas, I hope you will understand that I'd like to be a bit further along in the next project before making any official anouncements.

This first go has taught me a few things and one of them is not to count my chickens before they hatch. The last thing i want is another false start and to add more disappointment to potential customers as well as folks who have been loyal fans of my other work and online (and sometimes real life) friends.

  4. Me too. Pedro was doing a good job on them. My hope is to lead off with some new projects, leaving the possibility that Pedro will be able to revisit the Chuhuac in the future. If it looks like Pedro will not be an option at all, I'll then consider a new sculptor for the project.

The Chuhuac are my dream project and they WILL live :)
